Solebury Residential Burglary Persons Of Interest Located, Police Say

Police have found a vehicle and two individuals they wish to speak with in regards to a residential burglary in Solebury Township, authorities confirmed Monday.

Solebury Township police worked with law enforcement in Reading, Berks County, area to locate the persons of interest and vehicle in the early hours of Monday, according to a statement.

Police have not released the identities of the individuals found or detailed how they are connected to the burglary.

Officials stated that more details would be provided at a future time.

The burglary occurred in the Peddlers View neighborhood off Route 202 and Street Road early last Thursday afternoon.

Authorities were alerted to the incident following reports of a suspicious silver Nissan Rogue SUV seen driving through multiple driveways in the area.

A 9-1-1 call about a burglary several blocks away in the same neighborhood was made shortly after.

Surveillance footage from the area captured the Nissan Rogue that was missing rear tire hubcaps and a dent on the rear bumper.

The Solebury Township Police Department had sought the public’s assistance in connection with the burglary.

The investigation into the incident has yielded video evidence of two suspects associated with the vehicle.

The burglary is not believed to be connected to a Sunday business burglary in the township.
