Stormy Forecast Cancels New Hope Arts & Crafts Festival

With heavy rain in the forecast for this weekend, organizers have cancelled the 29th annual New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival.

The event was set for Saturday and Sunday at New Hope-Solebury High School in New Hope Borough.

“Due to weather, the committee has decided to cancel the event for 2023 – there is no other way to make this weekend work and no rain date was available,” a spokesperson for the event told this news organization.

“The event was expected to bring together more than 160 talented artists and craftspeople to showcase their creations,” or “The event promised to bring together more than 160 talented artists and craftspeople who would showcase their creations.

The annual New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival is organized by the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce.

The National Weather Service is calling for rain on both Saturday and Sunday, with as much as an inch falling on Saturday.
