Only hours after a man suffered serious injuries in a diving incident along the Delaware River on Sunday, emergency services were dispatched for another water emergency.
Crews were called for an overturned kayak in the water near the Lambertville Wing Dam.
Responding to the scene were members from the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad, New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company, West Amwell Fire Company, and the West Amwell Township Police Department.
Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad’s airboat used to retrieve the individual from the water.
The kayaker was reported to have no injuries.
