Police Investigating Body Found Along River

Solebury Township police were working to identify a body located along the Delaware River.

A body was located along the Delaware River in Solebury Township on Easter Sunday.

The body was found lodged on the rocks along the river between Route 263 and Greenhill Road in the township, police said.

The investigation to identify the body was ongoing as of Sunday afternoon, police said.

Authorities put boats in the water as part of their efforts to retrieve the body.

In addition to police, the New Hope Eagle Fire Company, Point Pleasant Fire Company, Central Bucks EMS, and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office assisted.
