Solebury car crash leaves two critically injured Thursday night

A collision on Route 202 in Solebury left three people injured Thursday night; two seriously.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. just north of Aquetong Road.

Solebury Township Police say a white cargo van traveling southbound on Route 202 collided head on with a white Honda SUV traveling northbound.

The adult male operator of the cargo van was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne with minor injuries. The adult male operator of the SUV and his adult female passenger were both seriously injured and also transported to St. Mary Medical Center.

Solebury Township Police were joined at the accident scene by Central Bucks EMS, Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company. Together with the Crash Investigation Team from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, Solbury police are continuing to investigate the crash.

They ask that anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or the vehicles involved traveling on Route 202 just prior to the crash, to contact them at (215) 348-7400.
