Sidetracks Art Gallery in New Hope will host its 12th Annual “Naked in New Hope” exhibition starting Sept. 8 with an opening street fair at 6 p.m.

A portion of Stockton Avenue will be closed to traffic to provide space for outdoor refreshments and conversation.

The popular exhibition “celebrates the facts and foibles of the human body in all its pain and, pleasure, guts and glory,” say owners, and runs through Oct. 27.

This year, 107 artists will participate in Naked in New Hope, including 16 resident gallery artists, and 32 artists are showing at Sidetracks for the first time.

In addition to the opening reception, three special events are associated with the show. On Saturday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m., New York City painter Fred Hatt will visit the gallery with model Neil Fleisher for an exhibition of live body painting. Hatt’s work was featured in a special issue of Drawing Magazine in 2016 entitled “The Figure, The Best of Drawing.”

Artist Tai Lin will visit Sidetracks on Saturday, Oct. 6, beginning at 6 p.m., to demonstrate his renowned “white-on-black” technique with pastel.

And gallery co-owner Ricky Godinez will celebrate his 60th birthday at the gallery with a party from 6 to 9 p.m. on 0ct. 13.

Sidetracks Gallery is located at 10 Stockton Ave. in New Hope.
