Photo exhibit at New Hope Arts honors those who serve

“War’s Youth” by Dalton Stiles.

“Exposure 2018” is the fourth juried photographic exhibition at New Hope Arts, and this year it celebrates “Those Who Serve.”

The show was created by New Hope Arts gallerist Michelle Kott as “a challenge to photographers from around the country to find, document and capture images that express a story of heroism and service in divisive times.”

“For Spacious Skies” by Marc Winans.

The exhibition opening on Saturday, Aug. 4, showcases “a vision of people, objects and places that forms a rich panorama, even bigger than America’s vast and beautiful landscape,” say organizers.

“Those Who Serve” is open to the public Friday to Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., Aug. 4-26. An opening reception and award ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m., for exhibiting artists, New Hope Arts members, and their guests.

“Somewhere in Germany” by Leroy Baldwin.

Special programs will be offered online.

New Hope Arts is located at 2 Stockton Ave. in New Hope.
