Missing Springfield teen spotted in Solebury Township

Taylor Ludman

Solebury Township Police say they received information Thursday on a missing Bucks County teen.

A Solebury Township resident called police saying they had spotted a white female juvenile hitchhiking on Sugan Road in the area of Paxson Road on July 11 between 8:15 and 8:25 a.m., and that the girl looked like a missing person they had seen on social media. They noted that the hitch hiker was wearing a dark long sleeve jacket or shirt and dark-colored “short shorts.”

Authorities say the teen is Taylor Ludman, a 16-year-old from Springfield Township, whose disappearance is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police from the Dublin Barracks.  Police say she left her residence in Springfield Township on July 10, and say she was last seen wearing a red “Ocean City NJ” sweatshirt and blue cut-off shorts.

State Police ask that anyone who may know the whereabouts of Ludman, or saw her near Mechanicsville or Sugan Road, or walking anywhere in Solebury, call 911 or contact the Pennsylvania State Police at (215) 249-9191.
