Glam rock band Creem Circus plays Havana Saturday night

creem circusPhiladelphia-based glam rock band Creem Circus will be kicking it out in platform shoes and glitter outfits at Havana New Hope on Saturday, July 18, at 8 p.m.
That’s right, all those hair band accoutrements you remember will be on full display: sequins, over-sized glasses, flares, and the monster riffs you loved.
Says the band, “We mainly play original music, but also do some covers from the era.”
Their debut CD “Rock and/or Roll” has been gaining airplay and buzz, and they’ve recently been touring on the East Coast.

Interestingly, band member Chris DiPinto makes guitars for the epic Los Straitjackets as owner of DiPinto Guitars, and they’re available through J.B. Kline in Lambertville.

A D.J. will be following Creem Circus, who play from 8-10 p.m. (doors at 6 p.m.). Tickets are a bargain at $7, including limited tables, barstools and chairs.
