New Hope Borough encourages residents to complete survey on potential shuttle bus service

New Hope free press PennDOTCaleigh Roach, a sophomore at New Hope-Solebury High School, will be at the CVS store in New Hope this Sunday, Nov. 23 from 1-3 p.m., helping to get as many residents as possible to complete a PennDOT survey.

Borough Council is studying the feasibility of a shuttle bus to downtown New Hope, they said Monday. The brief survey is also available online and must be completed by Nov. 28.

The survey was initiated “to address a request by New Hope Borough for technical planning assistance to conduct a demonstration feasibility study for public transit service that would serve borough residents and visitors,” according to PennDOT Deputy Press Secretary Erin Waters-Trasatt.
