ken silverThe Ken Silver Quintet will present Make Someone Happy at 8 p.m. on Dec. 12.  The show also features renowned vocalist Paula Johns and pianist Dean Schneider.

For more than three decades, audiences have enjoyed the sophisticated, smooth sounds of the Ken Silver Ensemble. Silver is one of the area’s most prominent band leaders and talented entertainers, and his group’s performances feature a diverse repertoire from the likes of Cole Porter, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler, and Barry Manilow.

Silver is also popular with many area students and parents as the much-loved principal of the New Hope Solebury Lower Elementary School. Interestingly, Silver taught his current boss and fellow musician, School Superintendent Ray Boccuti, his way around a horn.

Tickets are only $15, so no excuse for absences!
