Emerson Lake & Palmer and ASIA founding member Carl Palmer will present an evening of the instrumental rock classics of ELP on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Havana New Hope.

It’s all part of Palmer’s ELP Legacy Rhythm Of Light 2014 Tour in which he performs bold, new arrangements of the best-loved instrumental music of ELP and other composers. Carl Palmer Legacy is a red-hot power trio that features Palmer on drums and percussion, guitarist Paul Bielatowicz, and bassist Simon Fitzpatrick, in a multimedia experience combining music and video projection.

The tour coincides with the global release of Palmer’s Decade DVD that features a performance from the band’s 2011 tour and includes numerous cinematic images which were used in the stage show, and the re-release of his acclaimed 2001 Anthology, Do Ya Wanna Play, Carl? Palmer’s ELP Legacy will play for nearly two hours, and drum enthusiasts can expect an evening of compelling percussive skills from the man who re-wrote the book on rock-n-roll drumming.

Palmer will play Havana New Hope for one night, and one night only: Saturday, Nov. 22. Doors/will-call 6 p.m., show at 8 p.m. Limited reserved tables, loft chairs and bar stools. Tickets: $75 in advance.
