New Hope and Lambertville police blotters: allegedly drunk woman pushes cop, DUIs, attempted break-in

April 19, 2014 –  At 12:01 a.m. police arrested Brian Gallagher, 23, of Ocean City, New Jersey, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, after he was observed operating his vehicle in an unlawful manner on South Main Street.

April 19, 2014 –  At 2:05 a.m. police cited Megan McCreary, 23, of Doylestown, for Public Drunkenness, after she was found to be in an intoxicated state on South Main Street.

April 21, 2014 –  The owner of a South Main Street business reported to police that at some time during the overnight hours of April 20 into April 21, someone had attempted to enter the business by prying at the rear door.

April 24, 2014 –  At 11:22 p.m. police cited Cynthia Heath, 48, of Solebury for Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness after she created a disturbance at a West Mechanic Street establishment.

April 26, 2014 –  At 2:20 a.m. police cited Glen Smith, 50, of Avoca, Pennsylvania, for Public Drunkenness, after he was found to be in an intoxicated state on South Main Street.

April 26, 2014 –  At 4:20 p.m. the owner of a South Main Street establishment reported to police that at some time during the prior two days, someone had removed a brass or bronze pedestal ashtray valued at approximately $100 from outside of her store.

Lambertville City Police Department

Case #14002802:

Marinez Richards, 22, of Trenton, was arrested for DUI on May 17 as a result of a motor vehicle stop.

Ptl. Michael Gramlich stopped Richards on Route 165 at 2:13 a.m. after she was allegedly observed driving erratically. Richards was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and subsequently arrested. She was charged with DUI, Refusal to Submit to Breath Testing, Careless Driving and Improper Use of Horn.  he was later released with a pending court date.

Case #14002820:
Meaghan Leone, 30, of West Amwell Township, NJ was charged with Obstructing and other charges after an incident on Saturday May 17.

Ptl. Anthony Memolo and Ptl. Joseph Weber were called to the area of York and Washington streets for a report of an allegedly intoxicated female claiming her child was missing. Upon arrival, it was reportedly determined that Leone was under the influence of alcohol and was in the middle of the roadway with her six-year-old child, claiming her other child (eight months old) was missing after she had left a local bar. During the investigation, Leone allegedly became belligerent and pushed an officer.

Leone was arrested and charged with Obstructing, Disorderly Conduct and Failure to Obey a Lawful Order. The alleged missing child was found safe at home with family and was never missing. Leone was later released with a pending court date.
