Chocolate making workshop hosted by Free Library of New Hope and Solebury fills up in one day

chocoThe original purpose of this article was to encourage attendance at the chocolate making workshop being offered by the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The bad news: it filled up in one day. The good news: you can sign on to the waiting list here.

The Free Library offers a range of events for all ages, from readings and lectures on books for adults to interactive learning sessions for children with insects, reptiles, and yes, chocolate. Who can resist spending an afternoon making chocolate and then eating it? Not I, and apparently not many of my neighbors.

The workshop is for kids in grades 6-12, and is lead by Laurie Douglass from Laurie’s Chocolates in keeping with the upcoming the Valentine’s Day holiday.

Call 215-862-2330 for more information, or put yourself on the waiting list. The Free Library of New Hope and Solebury is located at 93 W. Ferry St. in New Hope. Check out their other programming; you’re sure to find something you like.
