New Hope’s John Danaher opening for Jimmy Webb at Winter Festival concert

danaherJimmy Webb will appear with with Special Guest John Danaher at the Stephen J. Buck Memorial Theater in New Hope as one of the feature attractions of the Lambertville-New Hope Winter Festival week.

The concert starts at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, and reserved tickets are$45 in advance; $50 at the door.

Jimmy Webb is the only artist ever to have received Grammy awards for music, lyrics and orchestration, and also has written numerous platinum-selling classics. Webb is a recipient of both the Johnny Mercer Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Jimmy is currently touring Europe and the US promoting his new CD “Still Within The Sound Of My Voice”.

Danaher is an award-winning singer/songwriter who has toured with Grover Washington Jr., Jefferson Airplane, Huey Lewis Graham Parker and has worked with The Grateful Dead, Poco, Pure Prairie League, BB King, Carlos Santana among others. John will be performing with two of his closest friends Eric Aceto and Doug Robinson. John continues writing, performing solo and with he Quietmen, teaching,  producing and recording. He is currently working on an album and tour of Europe and the US.

The Stephen J. Buck Memorial Theater is located at 182 W. Bridge St. in  New Hope.
