Johnny Winter returns to New Hope Winery

johnny2The legendary Johnny Winter will be back by popular demand for one show only on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the New Hope Winery.

Renowned for his raucous 1960s and 1970s blues-rock sound, Winter went on to record and produce several Grammy-nominated blues albums and continues to tour extensively. In 2003, he was ranked 63rd in Rolling Stone’s list of the the 100 greatest rock guitarists. This author would place him in the the top 20 based on the live version of Boney Maronie alone.

Tickets are available on the Winery’s website.  New Hope Winery is located at 6123 Lower York Road (Route 202 a few minutes West of New Hope); 215-794-2331. Onsite parking available.
