The Bucks County Playhouse is launching its Saturday Arts Program (SAP), “a training ground for passionate young performers.” Classes will take place weekly from Sept. 22 until Nov. 17 at the Playhouse, NHS High School and the Solebury School.
The “conservatory-style” program is geared toward highly-motivated middle and high school students, say organizers. The classes will focus on helping participants gain confidence and become better performers. In addition to local instructors, guest artists will enhance the overall experience for each student. The program culminates in an on-stage presentation for friends and family.
An orientation/evaluation for prospective students will be held on Sept. 8 at the Bucks County Playhouse. The weekly 90-minute classes cost $50.00 each. For full details and to enroll, visit bcptheater.org
