The Free Press is an independent, online daily newspaper covering New Hope, Lambertville and Solebury.

Our mission is best summed up by Bill Moyers, “There is no more important struggle for American democracy than ensuring a diverse, independent and free media. Free Press is at the heart of that struggle.”

Reader comments, story ideas, and photos are indispensable. You can also make a financial contribution online that will help us to continue keeping readers posted not only on the latest things to do and see in the area, but also on the unbiased information they need to stay informed on key issues facing our communities.

Thank you to whoever wrote the obituary for Clarence (Larry) H. Bodine, Jr. You did a terrific job. I’m family, but you guys knew him better. Thanks!

  5. Great read! This local online pub is well-written and designed, no small feat in a time when local press is fading fast. Keep it coming and by all means, keep editorial and advertising separate. Good luck!

  6. How does on get on your daily email list?
