The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority is launching a new customer billing system this month.

The transition, which begins on May 12, will require customers to re-enroll in the authorityโ€™s online portal and adjust how they manage their accounts.

According to the authority, the current online bill pay portal will stop accepting payments after April 30.

As part of the system migration, no online payments will be processed during a 12-day maintenance window from May 1 through May 11.

The new portal is scheduled to go live on May 12.

Once active, customers must re-enroll in the system based on their preferred payment method.

As part of the update, residents will see a newly formatted bill in their mailboxes. The new statements will feature a new account number and a separate customer number, both of which are required for future transactions.

While the new account numbers will resemble previous versions, the authority stated they will no longer include the hyphen or the trailing digits used in the old system.

Customers who use their bank’s personal bill pay services or pay directly through the BCWSA website are advised they must update their account information to ensure payments are processed correctly.

Traditional payment methods, including mailing a check or paying by phone, will remain available and unchanged by the transition.

The authorityโ€™s customer service team is available to assist users throughout the migration process.

For more details on the new system and specific enrollment instructions, customers can visit the authority’s website at https://bcwsa.net/utility-billing/.
