Deere and Co. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire New Hope Borough-based Tenna, a construction technology firm that specializes in mixed-fleet equipment operations and asset tracking, the companies announced last week.
Tenna, a holding of The Conti Group, is based in the Union Square complex in New Hope Borough.
The acquisition is currently pending regulatory approval and is expected to close in Feb. 2026.
The acquisition brings Tenna’s integrated construction technology platform under the John Deere brand, the companies said.
The software is designed to automate construction workflows and provide contractors with near real-time data on equipment operations. By connecting field, shop, and office data, the platform aims to help users identify equipment trends and maintenance needs to improve jobsite coordination and reduce operational costs.
After the close of the deal, Tenna will continue to operate as an independent business. It will maintain its own tradename and focus on scaling its mixed-fleet customer model, the companies said.
Tenna has seen significant recent expansion, with Inc. magazine reporting 739% growth for the company between 2021 and 2024.
Deere and Co., which operates the John Deere brand, did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement.
