Four Democratic candidates have secured victories for open seats on the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas, according to unofficial election results.

The wins mark a sweep for the Democratic slate in the local county judicial races.

The victorious Democratic candidates are Linda Bobrin, Amy Fitzpatrick, Dawn DiDonato Burke, and Tiffany Thomas-Smith. They defeated the Republican ticket of Grace Deon, Chelsey Jackman, Joseph Pizzo, and Colin Monahan.

Bobrin currently serves as the county’s Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans’ Court. She must resign from that position to assume her role as judge. Her background also includes time as a Newtown Township supervisor and operating her own law firm.

Thomas-Smith brings two decades of experience as an attorney to the bench, having started her legal career as a public defender in Philadelphia.

Fitzpatrick, who is the county’s solicitor, previously worked for national law firms. She is not related to the Republican congressman.

DiDonato Burke has three decades of experience as an attorney, including previous work as a prosecutor in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.
