The City of Lambertville is preparing for a busy Halloween evening in the riverfront municipality known for its elaborate and creative decorations.
The locals and influx of visitors are drawn by dozens of decked-out homes on and around North Union Street.
City officials announced that North Union Street will be closed to all traffic between Coryell Street and Buttonwood Street. Additionally, the westbound lane of York Street will be closed between North Main Street and North Union Street to manage the anticipated crowds of trick-or-treaters from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The decorations this year feature a unique touch thanks to the Lambertville Creative Arts Fund and the work of retired art teacher Dolores Dragan.
Dragan’s handmade scenes, which usually adorn her yard, have been spread throughout the city as part of the “Memory Maker’s Trail of Magic.”
