Solebury Township Parks and Recreation Department will be staked out on Halloween evening in one neighborhood.

Parks and recreation officials will be in the North Pointe neighborhood on Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to hand out lighted items to children for Halloween trick-or-treating.

The program is designed to help children be more visible and “light up the area as they walk throughout the neighborhood,” according to the department.

Township staff will set up a table and tent at the corner of Norwalk Way and Kitchen’s Lane.

“We will have a table and tent set up with a variety of items for everyone who stops by to visit us,” the department stated. “It’s all free – so stop by and visit our Parks & Recreation Department in action — Join us if you dare!”
