Demolition is underway on the Four Season Car Wash and Lube Center to make way for a new Chase Bank branch.

Crews this week were tearing down the car wash, located on Lower York Road in front of the Logan Square shopping center in Solebury Township.

The car wash recently closed to make way for the new construction.

The Solebury Township Board of Supervisors approved developer Bruce Goodman’s plans for the site in the spring.

The project will transform the property into a 3,425-square-foot Chase Bank with a drive-thru ATM.

Goodman said in spring that the new bank will feature stone, metal, and a wood-like composite to comply with township ordinances and blend with the surrounding area.

According to Julie Von Spreckelsen, the project’s attorney, the bank will use its existing driveway and will not have a new one connecting directly to Lower York Road.

The project also includes the construction of a trail to connect the property to a future park at the former New Hope Flea Market site.
