New Hope Borough and Solebury Township police have teamed up to host a National Night Out event Tuesday, Aug. 5.
The festivities will take place at Laurel Park at 3092 North Sugan Road in Solebury Township starting at 6 p.m.
The event will feature emergency responders and other activities for families and residents.
Solebury Township has hosted a National Night Out celebration for several years, and New Hope Borough police joined the festivities last year.
National Night Out was created in 1984 to promote neighborhood unity and provide crime prevention education. The event is held on the first Tuesday of August and attracts about 38 million people in the U.S., Canada, and American military bases worldwide.
