Residents of Lambertville will have the opportunity to learn more about a proposed 40-room hotel development slated for the former Finkle’s site on Coryell Street.

Mayor Andrew Nowick announced a community meeting with the developer to discuss the preliminary plans, which include a banquet hall and parking facilities.

Finkle’s, a longtime fixture in the riverside city, closed at the end of last year.

John Connors, president of Brickstone Realty, and Ron Gorodesky, president of Refined Hospitality, will attend the informal meeting to introduce themselves and address general questions about the proposal.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 8, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center on 25 South Union Street.

Officials noted that no formal action will be taken at this meeting, and it will not be streamed online or recorded.

The proposed development has generated both interest and concern among Lambertville residents as it moves through the planning stages.
