Truck Takes Out PECO Pole, Wires

Police said the crash happened around noon.

A crash on Monday afternoon led to the closure of a section of Upper York Road (Route 263) in Solebury Township, police reported.

The crash happened just past noon and caused a PECO utility pole and wires to fall.

The damage led to officers shutting down Upper York Road between Sugan Road and Creamery Road, police said.

Officials did not provide an estimated time for when the road will reopen.

Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes and avoid the area as of noon.

Further details on the crash were not released.
