The historic Parry Mansion Museum on South Main Street in New Hope Borough is opening its doors to the public for a special open house event on Saturday, May 4.

The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. and is free of charge.

The New Hope Historical Society is promising an afternoon filled with activities suitable for all ages, including garden tours and live jazz music performed by students from New Hope-Solebury High School.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy food provided by Ferry + Main at the Logan Inn and take part in various children’s activities. Additionally, Innocenti Family Wines and Bit-hin’ Kitchen Brewery will offer tastings of select wines and beers.

The Parry Mansion was once the home of Benjamin Parry, the “Father of New Hope.”

The mansion’s eight rooms are each decorated to mirror different eras of the family’s occupancy and offer visitors a unique glimpse into the past.

Those interested in attending can RSVP by emailing info@newhopehistorical.org. Walk-ins are also welcome.
