A segment of River Road (Route 32) in New Hope Borough and Solebury Township will be closed for a pipe replacement project, officials from PennDOT announced.
The closure will affect the stretch of River Road between Aquetong Road and Windy Bush Road (Route 232).
Starting on Monday, April 22 through Friday, May 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the section of River Road (Route 32) will be closed weekdays.
PennDOT has directed motorists to use Aquetong Road and Windy Bush Road as detour routes.
Local residents will keep access to the area.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work zones due to expected backups and delays.
PennDOT noted that the work is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
