PennDOT has announced upcoming maintenance activities starting next week in Tinicum and Solebury townships.
Starting Monday, August 7, and continuing through Friday, August 11, Brick Church Road will be closed for maintenance from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Hollow Horn Road and Dark Hollow Road.
Drivers are advised to anticipate the detour and are directed to use Hollow Horn Road, Municipal Road, and Dark Hollow Road during this time, PennDOT said.
Additionally, from Wednesday, August 9, through Wednesday, August 16, weekday closures are scheduled on Aquetong Road between River Road (Route 32) and Windy Bush Road (Route 232).
Those traveling this route should plan for closures and use River Road and Windy Bush Road as alternatives.
Local access up to the work zones will be maintained throughout these periods, according to state transportation officials.
PennDOT urges drivers to anticipate additional time when traveling near these areas as backups and delays may occur due to these necessary maintenance activities.
