The New Hope-Solebury Community Association recently donated $3,000 to the New Hope Food Coalition (NHFC).

Organized by staff and teachers of New Hope-Solebury School District, NHFC offers free supermarket gift cards to residents of the community who are struggling during the covid-19 crisis.

“This generous donation by New Hope Community Association will help us to feed our community for weeks to come, and we can’t thank them enough,” NHFC said in a press release.

Since its inception in March, NHFC has distributed $10,000 in in supermarket cards.

Initial funding by members of the two school district unions has been augmented by contributions from residents of New Hope and Solebury, along with St. Martin of Tours Parish, New Hope-Solebury Education Fund, McCaffrey’s Food Markets, and Giant Food Store.

Contributions to NHFC can be made via PayPal.
