City of Lambertville to hold Community Development Fair on Saturday

The City of Lambertville will host a Community Development Fair on Saturday where officials, volunteers, and outside experts will discuss affordable housing, historic preservation, traffic and parking, redevelopment, flood mitigation, sustainability, the condition of city facilities, and other issues of importance to local residents.

“In my State of the City tomorrow I will be announcing a series of significant policy changes for 2020 and beyond,” said Lambertville Mayor Julia Fahl. “The Community Development Fair is an educational opportunity wherein the public can engage with city officials, experts, and volunteers to learn more about these policies and provide critical feedback.”

“My hope is to spark a broad community conversation on the challenges that face our city and begin to build a strategic plan for the future,” she added.

The event takes place on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m,. in the Lambertville Public School multi-purpose room. Attendees may stay for as long or little as they wish, say organizers.
