Southern rock band A Brother’s Revival hits Havana in New Hope next month

Southern rock legacy band A Brother’s Revivalfeaturing former Allman Brothers Band member David ‘Rook’ Goldflies on bass and Mike Kach (Dickey Betts Band) on keyboards and vocals, performs at Havana in New Hope on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Mike Kach shares the vocal duties with Dickey Betts in his band, Dickey Betts and Great Southern, and his strong, bluesy voice delivers a vocal reminiscent of Gregg Allman’s iconic sound.

As for the catalog of fan favorites written and performed by Dickey Betts, A Brother’s Revival introduces Joe Weiss, whose voice is reminiscent of Betts’ melodic vocal and wailing instrumentals.

The band will perform the Allman Brothers Band’s most memorable hits, including “Whipping Post,” “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,” “Southbound,” “Ramblin Man,” “Melissa,” “Jessica,” “One Way Out,” “Midnight Rider,” “Soulshine,” “Statesboro Blues,” and of course “Revival,” along with unexpected jams.

The Jan. 11 show runs from 8 to 11 p.m., and tickets are $30. Havana is located at 105 S. Main St. in New Hope; call (215) 862-5501 for more info.
