Moistboyz guitar maestro, fishing expert, and New Hope favorite son Mickey Melchiondo, a.k.a. Dean Ween, cut loose with his take on Pink Floyd‘s legendary ‘Echoes’ at John and Peter’s in New Hope Friday night.
The “ultimate cover band” he put together for the show included Guy Heller, Bill Fowler, Ray Kubian, Sean Faust, and Chris Williams.
Says the video description, “We grew up watching ‘Live at Pompeii’ all the time and finally got to execute this song properly.”
They certainly did, and were kind enough to post it for all to hear. The accompanying slides are pretty cool, too.
