Solebury police seek two males in attempted child luring

Police composite of van passenger

Solebury Township police are looking for leads in an attempted child luring incident they say occurred at around 10 a.m. on Oct. 8 in the North Pointe development.

Police say that two adult males in a black van approached an 11 year old boy walking a dog on Kitchens Lane, and asked for help locating a lost puppy in exchange for candy. The boy immediately walked home and reported the incident to a parent. The vehicle in question is described as a clean black van with some dents on its right side. Police say that both the light-skinned male driver and medium-complexioned male passenger with a Spanish accent were wearing dirty work clothes and appeared to be in their 20s. The child had not seen the suspect vehicle previously.

Anyone with information on the incident can call Detective-Corporal Roy G. Ferrari at 215-297-8201 or email rferrari@soleburypd.org .
