Doylestown police seek assailant in alleged County Theater assault

Doylestown police are looking for a man they say punched a volunteer ticket taker in the face at the County Theater on July 2. Law enforcement officials allege he was attempting to gain access to the theater along with a dog in a messenger bag. They also say that the alleged suspect may have recently been seen in the New Hope-Lambertville area.

Doylestown police describe the purported suspect as “a Caucasian male, approximately 5’10” tall, 140-155 lbs., dark hair, sometimes pulled into a pony tail.” They went on to say, “He is known to travel with a small black and brown dog in a black over-the-shoulder bag.”

Doylestown Borough Police ask anyone with information about the man depicted in the sketch to contact Detective Wayne Jones at 215-345-4143.
