Qigong: Awaken The Healer Within

Qigong (chee gong) is an ancient Chinese self-care practice inspired by balance and harmony in

the natural world. Closely related to Tai Chi, Qigong involves a series of postures and exercises

including slow circular movements, regulated breathing, focused meditation, self-massage, and

the circulation of chi, or universal energy, in the body. It is a gentle practice which is good for

people with a wide range of abilities.  The foundation of this introductory course is gentle

movement, meditation, and breathing and is perfect for different abilities and ages. Wear

comfortable clothes and shoes.  Instructor Sandy Unger, MA is a Tai Chi Easy and Qigong

certified Community Practice Leader trained through the Institute of Integral Tai Chi and

This series will take place on six Wednesdays, beginning January 20, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

The series fee for Preserve Members is $48. The fee for non-members is $60. Advance registration
