THE NEW HOPE “LIBERTY” CANAL FESTIVAL
JUNE 20-22, 2014

Come join the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce, and the Coryell’s Ferry Militia, as we sponsor a three-day Revolutionary War era reenactment of General George Washington’s June 20-22, 1778 encampment and Delaware River crossing, from New Hope, PA. This celebration of our freedom and liberty will include live artillery cannon firing and rifle demonstrations, a Veterans and military parade, Colonial period crafts, 18th Century music, Revolutionary War lifestyle exhibitions, a Colonial treasure hunt for the children, Colonial dress, Liberty Pole, The Regimental Ball and more.

Please join us in celebrating our incredible history in New Hope, PA. You, your children and friends can meet these historical characters, enjoy the exhibitions, take part in the historical events, and experience all the historical and modern-day comfort and hospitality that New Hope has to offer, and generally enjoy a weekend unlike any you will find this summer.
