Plants have historically played a critical role in our health and wellness. Join Naturalist Pat Coleman
as we venture out to the Medicinal Trail, a very special woodland retreat tucked in a quiet corner.
We will look for some of the most cherished medicinal herbs and talk about their history and their
uses. We are likely to encounter a few “uncherished” plants along the way that also have impressive
medicinal reputations. Lead by Pat Coleman, a volunteer naturalist and home herbalist who has been
studying medicinal uses of plants for several years.
This program will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at Bowman’s Hill
Wildflower Preserve. The fee for Preserve Members is $5. The fee for non-members is $7. Call to
register, (215) 862-2924.
Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is located at 1635 River Rd. (Rt. 32), just two and half miles south of
downtown New Hope, PA. For more information about programs at the Preserve visit www.bhwp.org.
