Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow (BCAS) is holding a nest box workshop at the Visitor

Center on February 20, from 1-3pm. The cost is $5 for the lecture, and $25 if you would like to stay and

build a box!

Ray Hendrick, a past president of Bucks County Audubon Society, will provide a brief lecture before the

nest box construction regarding the importance of nest boxes and who they benefit. Known locally as

“The Bluebird Guy”, Ray is a very involved member of the local environmental community. He has won

environmentalism awards from Bucks County Audubon Society and is the Doylestown Township

Ornithologist along with being a chairman of the Doylestown Environmental Advisory Council (EAC).

BCAS, located at 2877 Creamery Rd. in Solebury is two miles east of Peddler’s Village. Our mission is to

educate the people of the Greater Bucks County region about our natural world with an emphasis on

energy and resource conservation, including the protection of birds, other wildlife and their habitats.
