Hunterdon County citizens have 3 ways to vote in July 7 primary election

Vote by Mail drop box at the Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center in Lambertville

The New Jersey Primary Election on July 7 will be the first ever statewide election conducted by way of Vote By Mail (VBM).

VBM ballots have been mailed to voters, and completed ballots are due to the County Board of Elections (or drop box) by July 7 at 8 p.m.

Hunterdon County voters have several ways to deliver their VBM ballots to the County Board of Elections:

  • Mailing the completed ballot back in the postage paid envelope provided. Ballots must be postmarked July 7, 2020, and received by the Board of Elections no later than July 14, 2020.
  • Dropping off at the County Board of Elections, Historic Court House, 3rd Floor, 71 Main St., Flemington
  • Placing your sealed ballots in any one of the county’s secure ballot drop box locations any time, up until 8 p.m. on Election Day

There’s a drop box location in Lambertville at the Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center, 25 S. Union St.

Hunterdon County Library
314 State Route 12, Bldg. 3, Flemington

Readington Township. Municipal Building
509 County Road 523, Whitehouse Station

Holland Township Municipal Building

Voting in person will take place at single polling stations in each municipality. Voting stations will open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on July 7th

There will be no voting machines at the polls. Voters will be voting by Provisional Ballots only. Voters with disabilities that sign a certification will have access to and may vote on an ADA-accessible machine.

    Hope it goes better than it did here in Solebury where they didn’t even print the ballot on the correct sized paper to fit in the machine! Not exactly a shining moment for the League of Women Voters.
