New Hope Mayor Larry Keller on Friday issued a Declaration of Disaster Emergency in response to the current COVID-19 epidemic.
“The declaration empowers the borough to, in keeping with the Governor’s orders, enforce closing of nonessential businesses and other areas of potentially dangerous congregation, and authorizes additional actions as necessary to help mitigate the spread of coronavirus/COVID-19,” the borough said in a statement.

Even with the threat of financial instability, I’m very proud of our Local salon industry and their willingness to cooperate with closing orders in an attempt to curve the spread of the corona virus. The few salons that chose to stay open bring great risk to our clients and community…very irresponsible! Stay safe everyone!
