May 13, 2014 –  At 11:58 p.m. a representative of a West Bridge Street establishment reported to police that he suspected that an employee had stolen $350 from the business over an unspecified period of time. Police are continuing their investigation.May 16, 2014 –  At 6:35 p.m. police responded to a report of a disturbance in a West Bridge Street parking lot. Investigation of the incident indicated that a subject had smashed a taillight on a vehicle with a baseball bat after a confrontation with the occupant of the vehicle. Police have a suspect, and are continuing their investigation.

May 19, 2014 –  At 4:27 p.m. Police cited Kourtney Hurly-McBride, 22, of Holland, Pennsylvania, for Retail Theft after she reportedly stole merchandise with a total value of $80.99 from two South Main Street establishments.
May 22, 2014 –  At 2:00 p.m. a resident of Village 2 reported to police that on April 8, 2014 a package containing a food processor valued at $100 had been stolen from outside her residence.
May 24, 2014 –  At 4:02 a.m. Police cited Benjamin Auker, 32, of Pittstown, New Jersey for Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness,after he entered a private residence, not his own, on Waterloo Street, while in an intoxicated state.

Case #14003237:

Two Flemington residents are facing drug charges as a result of a motor vehicle stop on June 4.

Sgt. Robert Brown stopped a vehicle being operated by Adam Favereaux, 29, at 5:15 p.m. for Speeding on Route 179. Subsequent to further investigation, a bag of marijuana was allegedly located in the vehicle. Both Favereaux and his passenger, Deana Johnson, 49, were charged with Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS in a Vehicle.  Favereaux was additionally charged with Speeding. Both were later released with pending court dates.

Case #14003278:

Patrick O’Neill, 53, of Washington Crossing, PA, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on June 7.

Ptl. Anthony Memolo stopped O’Neill at 12:00 a.m. for Speeding on Route 29.  During the stop, O’Neill was reportedly found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia (marijuana residue in a fake cigarette). O’Neill was charged with Possession of Drug paraphernalia and Speeding. He was later released with a pending court date.

 

Case #1400:

Eric Chapin, 23, of Pennington, was arrested for DUI on June 7 as a result of a motor vehicle stop

Ptl. Anthony Memolo stopped Chibin on Rt. 29, at 2:20 a.m. after he was allegedly observed following another vehicle too closely and swerving. Subsequent to the stop Chibin was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Chibin was charged with DUI, Refusal to Submit to Breath testing and Careless Driving. Chibin was later released on his own recognizance with a pending court date.

Case #14003269:

Mark Kennedy, 43 of Trenton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on June 6.

Ptl. Michael Gramlich stopped Kennedy on Route 29 at 5:30 p.m. for Speeding. Kennedy was found to have a warrant issued for his arrest for failure to appear on traffic charges in Trenton. Kennedy posted $500 bail and was released after being charged with Speeding.

Case #14003316:

Adria Love, 31, of Lambertville was arrested for “huffing” on June 8.

Sgt. Robert Brown and Ptl. Matthew Bast were detailed to the area of the Canal Path behind the Holcombe Jimison Farm for a report of a female huffing CDS. Love was charged with being under the influence of CDS and Possession of CDS. She was later released with a pending court date.

Case #14003325:

Jose Antonio-Morales, 28, of Lambertville was arrested for drug possession on June 8.

Sgt. Robert Brown was called to the area of Cavallo Park at 7:45 p.m. for a report of a group of individuals drinking alcohol. Three men, Rolando Martinez-Buendia, Miguel Rodriguez (both of New Hope, PA) and Antonio-Morales, 28 YOA of Lambertville, were charged with drinking in public. Antonio-Morales was also found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. He was charged with Possession of CDS as well.

Case #14003040:

Three residents were displaced from their apartment after an early morning fire at an apartment building in the City.

Officers were initially called to the Coryell Street building at 4:56 a.m. for a 911 hang-up indicating there was a problem in the building. Upon arrival, it was determined there was an active fire inside of a third floor bedroom. Tenants were evacuated as the Lambertville Fire Department and several surrounding agencies quickly arrived. Fire Fighters were able to contain the fire to one apartment saving the rest of the building as it was brought under control.  Three tenants were treated for smoke inhalation and released on scene.  No injuries were reported.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation but does not appear to be suspicious at this time.

During the fire, a small marijuana grow operation was located in the building, however; it was unrelated to the fire itself.  Police Officers shut down the operation which consisted of marijuana plants, hydroponics, lighting and a quantity of marijuana.

Mark Kimble, 57, was charged with Manufacturing CDS, Distribution of CDS, Possession of CDS as well as Possession of Drug paraphernalia for several items relating to the operation.  Kimble was later released with a pending court date at the Hunterdon County Superior Court.

Case #14003454:

Adam Johns, 29, no address, was arrested on multiple charges as a result of an investigation involving stolen checks on June 14.

Ptl. Anthony Memolo caught up with Johns at a Hancock Street residence after receiving information he may have been staying with a friend.  Johns was alleged to have stolen the victim’s checkbook from a residence while at a party.  Johns then proceeded to cash several forged checks over a two week period, totaling approximately $5,000 to reportedly support a drug habit.

When Johns was located he was also allegedly found to be in possession of 15 decks of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Johns was charged with felony Theft, Forgery,  and Drug Possession; as well as possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Case #14003435:

Police investigated a 5 car motor vehicle crash on Route 29 on Friday June 13.

Ptl. Sharon Polyak was dispatched to the area of Route 29 and the Laceworks complex for a multi-motor vehicle crash at 11:45PM.  On arrival, Sarah Livezey, 22, of Carversville, was found to have minor injuries as a result of the crash. It was determined that Livezey had been traveling north on Route 29 when she took her eyes off of the roadway to check her GPS unit. Livezey then sideswiped a parked vehicle before rear ending another vehicle, totaling it, spinning 180 degrees and striking two more parked vehicles in a driveway. Livezey’s vehicle was totaled as well as a result of the crash.  She was treated for her injuries on scene and released.

Livezey was charged with Careless Driving, Use of a Wireless Device and Suspended Touring Privileges.

  • I have a question.If a person under the age of 18 is arrested, be it in school or not, charged with a crime,is the police department obligated to have a public record of the incident given to the media provided that the student’s name is not given? And if the student is 18 or over, will his name be given to the media?
